• To promote the active participation of the community residents in the development of civic, social, religious, moral, educational and safety activities that promote and protect the general welfare of Glenwood Park and its residents.
• To uphold the principles of good government and to work with the existing local and state governments, but to remain strictly nonpartisan.
• To give a voice to membership majorities regarding proposals by local and state authorities in matters affecting the general welfare of our community.
• To promote the active participation of all community residents in the development of civic, social, recognized organizations in the pursuance of common goals that will enhance and improve our community.
• To encourage and enable qualified inhabitants of the community to register and vote in order to give an active and effective voice to the foregoing purposes.  

Success is not a place at which one arrives but rather the spirit with which one undertakes and continues the journey.
